Horse Happening, is an online market place bringing together the best riding clinics, equine experiences and events in Australia. We partner with horse clinicians and equine businesses to provide easier and faster access to the best range of equine happenings. We publish customer feedback and reviews to help you choose your clinic, experience or event. You can then secure your spot immediately by booking through our online reservation service.

Click on the tab “What’s On” on the right side on each page. It will take you directly to the listing of all clinics and events by date. It will also show you how many saddle seats are still available for each clinic.

Most of our clients are riding regularly and participate in our clinics with their own horse. For our holidays and experiences – where we will provide you with a responsive and fit trail horse – need to be able to control your horse in the walk, trot and canter. We do offer some experiences for beginners. However, most of our offerrings are for experienced riders. Please refer to the clinic description which gives you the information about the level of experience required for each clinic or experience.

Yes. There are exceptions of course, where we would suggest that you ride one of our service provider’s horses to better enjoy the experience. We also offer places for passive participants, spectators, auditors and fence sitters.

Making a booking with us will never cost you more than booking directly. Booking with Horse Happening also gives you access to a number of special and last minute offerings.

Prices quoted usually include the cost of the clinic, experience or event. Clinic Prices do not include food or rider accommodation. Nor do they include accommodation for your horse. You will need to bring your own feed for your equine companion.
Our horse holidays and horse experiences are usually all-inclusive. Please read carefully what is included and what needs to be paid extra.

We try to keep groups small and it is up to the horse clinician or trainer to determine the class size best suited to provide the best experience or learning environment.

Yes. You can choose the value of one of our Gift Vouchers and it can be credited towards any experience or clinic we offer. We can send it to you digitally instantly or via Australia Post in a beautiful gift envelope.

In Europe May to October. Cowgirl retreats, ranch experiences and cattle drives in North America are usually scheduled from May to September. If you are looking forward to your horse experience in the Kimberleys, or in far North Queensland, we suggest to plan your trip during the Australian winter months of June, July or August.

Horse Holidays may be cancelled up to 12 weeks prior to the start of the experience or event. This will incur a A$ 300 cancellation fee.

Clinics and experiences can be cancelled up to 6 weeks prior to the commencement day. This will incur a A$150 cancellation fee. Nominating a replacement participant may be possible. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.

Yes. We do have suitable horses available which can be made available. There is some additional cost and you will need to take care of the horse as if it was your own during the clinic. Give us a call and we can help you out.
